The government is finding many alternatives to help the people
The government makes it compulsory for the people to contribute to MediSave, so that if anything happens to the person, he will be more able to afford his medical bills without having to take loans.
Even if a person does not have MediSave, they still can go to the hospital for their operation by paying by instalments using a GIRO account. This would benefit alot of poor people without MediSave, and help to cure their illnesses more efficiently.
